As a successful entertainer and producer in Israel, one would believe Emanuel Bat Joshoua lives worlds apart from those who know financial need. However all things fame disappear in contrast to her heart of compassion for those crying out for assistance. Ms. Bat Joshoua's resume speaks volumes about her character and demands attention. For example, in addition to developing innovative entertainment productions, Emanuel was also president of a high-tech entertainment company that specialized in the development of youth awareness programming.
It was following a "spiritual reawakening" that Emanuel became dedicated to embracing the social responsibility that Jewish life demands, and in 2003 she responded from the heart to the desperate pleas for help from Jewish widows, orphans, elderly and infirm. Emanuel did not hesitate in her decision to give up a very successful singing career and work closely with Rabbi Dude Zilberstrag, Founder of Meir Panim. Since committing her life to performing acts of kindness, she has never looked back, but instead forged ahead as the Founder and President of Private Redemption Foundation, a US-based non-profit organization helping to prevent homelessness among talented, capable and motivated Jewish women, many with children, who have been beset by extraordinary circumstances.
It was while helping to meet the basic needs of Jewish women on the brink of homelessness that Ms. Bat Joshoua was introduced to a Jewish couple who had been desperately trying to create a family. This couple was suffering greatly with issues of infertility, but for financial reasons was unable to avail themselves of halachically permitted modern medical advances in assisted reproduction. Overcome with compassion, Ms. Bat Joshoua immediately set out to do whatever possible to help this couple, as well as other Jewish couples in this same financial situation. It is a desire firmly planted in her heart to help subsidize the treatment costs for Jewish couples and thereby enabling their dream of having a family and fulfilling the biblical imperative to bring children into the world.
Quickly becoming one of Private Redemption's regular donors, Moshe was captivated by the organization's commitment to providing help to the needy "at the highest level of charity." By offering not only necessary emergency assistance, but also addressing the extraordinary goal of laying groundwork and providing support for long-term solutions, Mr. Ross appreciated how donations were elevated, as it were, to investments in the lives of individual clients and their families.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Moshe had a successful career in computer software sales and marketing management. In addition to training and managing sales teams, Mr. Ross developed innovative courses for employee and volunteer training. He has a BS Psychology degree from the University of Idaho, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the Executive Award for Academic Excellence, awarded to the top 0.5 percent of students. He earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. Moshe has a long history of volunteer service and teaching within the Jewish community.
President and CEO of Hollywood Center Studios (www.hollywoodcenter.com), UCLA graduate, and with more than 40 years in the real estate development business in both the US and Canada, Mr. Singer first joined Private Redemption Foundation as a donor. Becoming increasingly aware of the uniqueness of the organization's approach to helping the most destitute in our communities "until they no longer need to depend on others for support," Alan offered to bring his extensive business, creative and financial acumen to the rapidly growing foundation.
The studio has played host to some of the most notable productions of the past century, including When Harry Met Sally, X- men, Zoolander, Adam's Family, Shaggy Dog, I Love You Man, Wizard of Waverly Place, Ben Stiller Show, That's So Raven, Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Unplugged MTV and Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
Founder of Louis Kemp Seafood Company, and of Chabad of Pacific Palisades, Mr. Louis "Louie" Kemp says that his biggest achievement in life is his children. In his humbleness he won't mention many of his great achievements as a businessman and as a known community baal tzedaka. "I know that the real reasons I was sent to this world are to do chesed, kiruv, and mitzvos. All mundane pursuits are window dressing," he says.
Since its creation, Mr. Kemp has been and continues to be an avid supporter of Private Redemption Foundation. We are proud to count him among our board of directors.
You can get more background about Mr. Kemp and his life experiences in a story he wrote for the Jewish Journal entitled "My Seder with Brando," at: http://www.jewishjournal.com/arts/article/my_seder_with_brando_20041008
Born, raised and educated in Toronto Canada, Jeff spent close to 15 years brokering real estate transactions on both a residential and commercial level. In his spare time he lead "Birthright/Taglit" trips to Israel, coached local hockey teams, hosted charity golf tournaments, was a "big brother" to a little boy who did not have a father and assisted several charities via donations and his personal time/effort. It is and has always been a priority for Jeff to "give back" some of his success to the community.
In 2007, Jeff officially made "aliyah" and moved to Israel for a new life in the Jewish homeland. Just over a year and a half later, he married his sabra wife Sharon who in large part was the driving force behind his move. Recently Jeff and Sharon were blessed with their first child, an adorable little boy.
Since Jeff's aliyah, he has spent his time working in Israel's lucrative high tech sector taking Israeli ingenuity to the global market. His endeavours have largely included setting up and managing the entire sales and marketing platforms/teams for several tech enterprises. The pride he feels from putting these companies "on the map" is clear the moment he starts talking about his work. The smile on his face and sparkle in his eyes are unmistakable. The only thing that can put a brighter smile on his face would be to discuss his family and passion for Israel.

ORGANIZATIONAL BACKGROUND
Bringing Life Foundation is a project of the Private Redemption Foundation. Headquartered in Beverly Hills, California and incorporated in 2006. Private Redemption Foundation is a federally recognized 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization and operates from offices throughout the world, including Los Angeles, New York, Jerusalem and London.
Bringing Life Foundation is committed to providing financial assistance to Jewish couples beset by childlessness, and who, for financial reasons, are unable to meet the expenses incurred by the many halachically sanctioned medical advances in assisted reproduction.
Our sages considered a childless person to be "as good as dead." Therefore, "we will not stand idly by"; we have chosen to be part of the solution, working to ensure that generations after generation of Jewish children are given an opportunity to come to this world.
Operating primarily through the dedicated efforts of volunteers, as well as with an outsourced team of committed professionals, and in conjunction with other charitable and governmental organizations, Bringing Life Foundation is entirely supported by donations from people like you and us.
Private Redemption Foundation is endorsed by prominent rabbis in the US and Israel, including Rabbi Dudi Zilbershlag, Founder of Meir Panim, one of Israels largest charitable organizations; Rabbi Binyamin Lisbon of KSA (Kosher Services of America) and Bais Bezalel/Chabad of S Beverly Hills, CA (donated by the father of Steven Spielberg); Rabbi Daniel N. Korobkin of the OU, and Translator and Editor of the Kuzari.
